I love working with students. I enjoy relating to them, giving them lots of ways to think about things, and giving them the opportunity to think through problems and come to an understanding all their own. It is very rewarding for me and something I really miss doing since graduating college. I tutored math from college algebra through differential equations for two years (4 semesters) while attending Penn State. I prefer working one on one or in small groupes. I usually ask questions instead of giving answers. I work on a good structure and always emphasis cumulative studying. I like to go over proofs. I like using the board if availble. I've worked as a math and science tutor at a local college math lab for about 30 hours per week for the past year. I have good experience with ada and dyslexic students. my favorite subject to tutor is any level of calculus.
