A Little Bit About Me...

Since graduating from Northern Illinois University, I have had several experiences teaching children at the elementary and middle school age. I was a nanny for a family of three for a year right after graduating. It was a wonderful experience and gave me the opportunity to create my own lessons and activities for the children. The following year I was a substitute teacher in Wisconsin for various grade levels and loved each experience. I am looking forward to beginning to substitute teach again this December in the DeKalb area.

I think I can provide exceptional one on one tutoring for a student of any age. My knowledge has been spread out throughout my college years and this would be a great first step into teaching. As a graduate of Sacred Heart Classical Center, I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II since I left the school in the Spring 2009.
