I explain concepts using visual representations as well as numerical/algebraic models. SAT - Math is one of my top subjects!

I'm a recent graduate from Brown University, with experience tutoring at the middle school, high school, and college levels. Math and Biology are my favorite things to teach--I love the subject matter and I love to see it "click" with students. In math, I received an 800 score on the SAT, and a score of 5 on each the Calculus AB and BC exams. I also tutored algebra as a high school student. As an undergraduate, my focus for studies in English were both Critical Literary Analysis and Creative Writing. Analytical writing was stressed heavily, giving me the ability to interpret a text based on intrinsic value. The creative tract allowed me to experiment with my own abilities while keeping in mind strategies implemented by others I have read and studied.
