I believe all children can learn but they each need to learn in a way that fits them. I feel that I can provide each child with the necessary curriculum knowledge in a fun and engaging way. I believe that through discovery leaning each subject is made unique and interesting and children are more likely to walk away feeling engaged, proud of their work, and excited. As a graduate student at Argosy University in Seattle, I currently hold a 3.55 GPA. My strengths are in grammatical structure, spelling, essay and research writing, and creative writing. My Bachelor's degree is in psychology and I am currently working toward my Master's degree in counseling psychology. I have a business degree in accounting. At the time I earned my degree, I was working a full time, managerial position at a government contracting corporation. It took incredible persistence and commitment to completed my degree and maintain an exceptional level of performance on the job. Since then, I have raised my children and have homeschooled both of my girls for about half of their education. I am patient, persistent, and goal oriented.
