A Little Bit About Me...

I have a passion for teaching and as such opened a tutoring service that I ran for four years. I hold a Bachelors of General Studies from Valdosta State University and will graduate with my Master of Business Administration in May 2010. I excel at tutoring in English, sociology, psychology, mathematics, science, literature, and social studies.
I believe the greatest asset to learning for anyone at any age is learning "how" to learn. I like to use modern techniques and ideas to creatively teach a child or adult a new concept. I am patient and unique.

A Little Bit About Me...

My experience includes teaching and tutoring medical graduates in the following areas: Biochemistry, Internal Medicine, microbiology, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Cell Immunology, Mathmatical Equations, etc. I have proven experience that help others to pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination. Right now I am teaching for Sanford Brown Institute, encouraging and helping students become certified as Surgical Technologist, as well as Acclerated RN programs. My experience is broad in many areas of study.
First off I love teaching and making sure that any studen, especially children, as I have a daughter myself, are able to understand and comprehend the lessons I am teahing with no added pressure. I like to reassure my students that they can learn at any given effort put forth to learn. I am easy to understand and give instructions where as they can easily be understood.

I am a visiual learner but I understand that all students learn differently.So, I like to change the way I teach to the needs of the student and constantly turning the tables of their questions with questions that make them think and answer for themselves. I can read and write upside down very fluently and I believe this helps the students understanding. I have been voted teacher of the month continuously and students request me by name frequently. I currently work in a tutoring center where I work with 3 on 1. I try to make the student comforable and wants to work as well as enjoys it. I have been told numerous times that they have enjoyed coming to me that the time went by quickly and they learned a lot.
