My comments on tutoring English : English includes writing and editing, and this is my area of expertise. I have a great reputation with former students who are grateful for finally having a teacher who has taught them to write and edit.

For the past three years, I have been teaching Writing at Austin Community College. Prior to that I taught teachers as an online facilitator for PBS. Taught to every age! I was in Europe for 9 years and opened my own American English School. Taught every level from pre-school to Engineers. Also translated and wrote policies and procedures for the European Union REACH program. Taught 3d and 4th grade in Germany. One example: taught English to German elemantary students using the game of baseball to learn new words. My oldest student was 79 years young! The youngest was 4.
