I generally teach through visual aids and through very thorough explanations. If the student doesn't understand the first time I explain something, I will explain it in a different way and will keep explaining it in different ways until he/she fully understands what's being taught. Hands on- creative-student centered learning!

I think that a lot of learning happens by students being actively engaged in what they are learning. I try to get/make hands on activities for students to learn.

My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : I have studied science ever science elementary schools and have a way of speaking that can simplify moderately challenging concepts.

I like students to understand how the material they are learning can and is being applied to everyday situations.
