Although I changed majors and ultimately graduated with a BS in Computer Science, I have continued my interest in teaching, first by volunteer tutoring during college and later by helping adults learn to speak English. I eventually took an intensive summer course in teaching English to speakers of other languages, following which I spent over three years teaching conversational English in Central Asia. I have always enjoyed teasing and using humor in teaching all ages of student. I have seen the value of basic, solid math and English skills in the market place and would add basic occupational application to any tutoring environment.
