My comments on tutoring Writing Skills : I have student teaching experience in the elementary school setting and was an middle school English teacher in South Korea for two years.

I studied Elementary Education during my undergraduate. During this time, I was a student teacher on several different occasions. I assisted the home room teacher and independently planned and taught lessons to the students. I have worked with grades 1 to 5 as a student teacher. I enjoyed teaching and was a very passionate teacher, but I realized that work as a social worker would allow me to help my students on a more personal level. During my work as a social worker, I worked with clients in the school and home setting. I educated teachers and school staff regarding my client's mental illnesses, and I developed classroom strategies to help my clients thrive in the classroom. My main goal is to help students develop confidence and competence. I believe every student has his or her own particular gifts, talents, and skills, and it is my duty as an educator to inspire them to utilize their potential. To this end, I strive for subject mastery, critical thinking, and problem-solving. In the end, I expect excellence from my students, but I also deeply value growth.
