I believe that different teaching styles help different students. A method of both lecture and active learning can be effective for the widest range of students. This allows the students to get a brief introduction to the day’s material before they work in groups on questions about the material. I feel that student’s can learn best from each other because they are all at the same level. If a group is unsure of an answer they can always ask the teacher or look it up in a book. I get to touch up on materials that the children are learning, as well as learn better ways to educate students. Patience is what I believe is the most important aspect of teaching. Children can become unfocused very easily. When children are distracted it may be very difficult to get them focused. Taking your time and making sure they refocus, can actually save time. Even as a student i helped my fellow students to understand and grasp the subjects they were having difficulty with. i can generaly spinn the information into a subject matter that interests the individual or just explain it in an easier to understand manner, offted they just get lolst in the language of teaching. i minnored in math, and majorred in science and agriculture in high school, ansd took veternary technology in colledge this involved mostly biologies and lab technigues.

A Little Bit About Me...

As an Honor roll student, a student on the Dean's list I was lucky to have graduated early. I taught six graders through opelia. I have also tutored a master's Student through her Statistics. Currently tutoring a student via online on her Senior Algebra for her Liberal Arts degree. I will hold a BA degree come december of 2010.
