Part of the advantage I have as a math tutor in particular is the fact that I failed math miserably in highschool myself. I have only learned what I know because I was bound and determined not to let any subject get the best of me. Unlike many math teachers who naturally understand math, I have the benefit of understanding precisely why students don't understand and the patience to explain a topic as many different ways as possible until the student and I hit on a way that works.

A Little Bit About Me...

All through high school I was told that I would grow up to become a teachers. My mentors always believed that I had the strong teaching quality in me. I began tutoring my peers and was successful in helping a failing student graduate on time! Since high school I attended college and graduated with honors.
