I make use of and and all available tools to help teach. I am easily adaptive and can find field expedient methods useful and successful when necessary. I am generously patient and prefer to teach from the ground up, disallowing missed information or misunderstanding. Nothing brings me more happiness that accomplishing a difficult task. I really enjoy seeing what I have overcome and the finished product of hard work and fortitude. Through tutoring, I want to extend that feeling to as many students as possible. I know that many people find mathematics to be extremely difficult, but I also know that with the right teacher we can learn anything. I will bring each student back to the basics until he or she understands them fully, then we can build a foundation of information and the more advanced material will not be so difficult. A Little Bit About Me...

I understand that all children can learn, but they also learn at different paces, in different ways, and at different times of the day. As I learn through audio, visual, and tactile, I can teach to those strengths as well. I am patient and easy going as long as the student tries to understand what is being taught to them. I like to see the people I work with succeed and enjoy teaching.
Throughout all of my academic career, I have never been paid for helping other students-my friends-with their homework. Yet, I have still done it when they asked. In high school, I usually helped the struggling athletes, even though I too was an athlete; this continued in college.
