My comments on tutoring Japanese : 6 semesters of Japanese language completed: 101, 102, 203, 204, 301, and 302

I studied 3 years (6 semesters) of Japanese in college- 2 years at UNCG and 1 year at Seinan Gakuin University in Fukuoka, Japan. I have continued to practice reading, writing, and speaking. Other than my time studying abroad, I spent 2 months Summer'11 doing a homestay, and returned for another month long stay March 2014.

I have 16 years of experience teaching piano to students from 4 to 50 years old. I have also taught piano lessons to special ed. students as part of the fine motor training. I developed a very simple and intuitive piano method, which was partially inspired by the ancient notation system used for the Japanese KOTO harp.
