As an undergrad student at the University of Wisconsin, I worked as a writing assistant in the Academic Resource Center assisting students with reading, writing and grammar. I have home schooled my two children for over 10 years using an original curriculum as well as purchased curricula. In addition, I have volunteered for the past three years at the local public library, tutoring writing, reading and math to adults. I have thus worked with children and adults of all ages and skill levels.

I have experience working with a wide range of students, from K-12, as well as special needs. My specialty is microbiology, and have received a degree in cell biology from Marquette University. I have learned how to discipline myself when it comes to learning, and have been able to use that to help other students of all ages.
