I have always had a passion for education and learning. I have always excelled in mathematics from elementary to collegiate levels. I LOVE math. I love to do math and I love to teach math. I was even on a math competition team in middle school. I have a strong statistical background from my Psychology studies and have taught Middle Grades Math to 8th graders. I believe to be a good teacher you have to be creative, patient, challenging and persevering. I love working with students who have not had success in school and show them how to reach the goals they have set and taste success. I am good at pin-pointing what motivates students to achieve, and also give them the tools and encouragement to reach their goals.
In my ten years of experience as a teacher I have accomplished many things of which I am proud. My second year of teaching I was asked to implement a reading intervention program district-wide.
