Whatever material you would like me to cover please let me know in advance so that I can review the section. In math and science I try to provide a practical explanation for why the material is important and interesting as well as teach any tips and tricks that I've learned.
I'm a 2nd year Electrical and Computer Engineering Student at Michigan Technological University. I've taken everything from Calculus 2 and Differential Equations on down with only Calc 3 left to go for math. For High School I went to Holland High School and graduated with a 4.05 GPA (weighted based on AP classes). I've been involved in FIRST Robotics, Dutch Football and a few other activities.

My experience with tutoring began in high school, when I started assisting elementary students with homework through one of my clubs. Throughout the two years I was involved, I regularly helped 6 students, along with 6 students that I met with irregularly. I recalled my difficulties in learning difficult subjects, my difficulties are not universal but I draw from them in finding what is blocking the student from grasping certain concepts. I recall teaching my children at a very early age the concept of ratios. I used windows, tiles from the kitchen, a pizza pie etc. This, before going to pencil and paper and it worked.
