I firmly believe that you learn best when you're having fun. Once a topic fascinates you, your mind automatically engages more, which helps you remember better. So I work to draw students in by keeping things interesting, using fun examples, humor, and applying things to areas they will actually care about. I want to make you actually WANT to learn.
I have a very adaptable teaching style. If one explanation isn't helpful, I'll try to approach from a different perspective, until we get something that works. I also prefer to encourage children to figure things out themselves, using only a light hand to guide them in the right direction.
