I enjoy teaching. I believe all children have the ability to succeed in the subject of math. The key to teaching children math is to find out what motivates your students. Then I try to find away to incorporate their interest into the lesson so they relate with the subject at hand. I also try to observe my students to see what the best way to teach them weather it is hands on or just a simple explanation of the material. I was a math tutor at Northern Virginia Community College in Sterling, VA from 08/03 to 07/07. I feel that there is no single method to learning, instead it is each individuals character that defines their own learning methods. I like to seek out what drives an individual to help them find their own passion about learning. With everything I do in life I go 150% and never give up.
