A Little Bit About Me...

I have not formally tutored students but was very instrumental in the education of my own 3 children (and now my grandchildren). I do not have formally teaching experience but I have developed management curriculum and conducted financial planning and analysis training sessions in the corporate environment. I have a reputationas as being very patient with trainees, and having a passion for imparting knowledge. Training objectives are consisely communicated and tests are provided to measure student performance at each chapter of the curriculum. I believe that children and young adults are the future and that a good education is absolutely necessary for their success and that of our nation.

As a graduate student, I have successfully tutored a number of undergraduate students. I received my BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Currently, I have 15 graduate semester hours including Advanced biochemistry, parasitology, Advanced botany, and Plant development. In addition, I have extensively learned proper laboratory research paper formatting. I have tutored Anatomy/Physiology, general chemistry, and pharmacology.
I enjoy teaching and helping other students understand difficult material. I love to use diagrams and other visual teaching tools. Often I relate biology to everyday life situations to help students understand better. Every student learns differently, but the material can be understood by every student.
