Just to show an example, the pythagorus theorem is really useful to work around were we make use of the hypotenuse to walk less from point a to b rather than going through the path.

I enjoy helping students 'solve their problems' by teaching them how to approach each problem or equation and reach the end solution. I tutored Calculus through the Peer tutoring program at my high school and at my College. I enjoy math and enjoy watching others learn it as well. I am a visual learner and the best way to teach would be to give the learner something he can visually grasp.
