I am currently enrolled as a student at the University of Maryland, College Park, in my junior year studying mechanical engineering. Prior to my studies at UMD, I took several classes at Frederick Community College, while in high school. While on my way to this level, I have taken many interesting classes and seen both effective and ineffective methods of communicating the critical content of these subjects. I am very familiar with both high school and college level math and science, and still use many of those principles in my current studies. I do have limited tutoring experience, mostly from tutoring friends and family.

My greatest satisfaction is to see how a child can improve and get better result with some help. I love working with children and I am always positive about their great potential. Children need to be able to explore and discover themselves. My students get along easily with me and enjoy learning because of my easy and creative teaching approach. I have earned a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering, that gave me a deep understanding in maths, geometry and physics. The intensive English program gave me very strong skills in grammar, writing research papers and essays. My most recent study area is MS in Environmental and Energy management, which allowed to reinforce my knowledge in several areas like climate change, air pollution, water pollution, green buildings.

I enjoy teaching adults and young adults who may be in high school or college. You can always find a way to relate the material to the student, and that is the key for them not just to understand it but care about it and have motivation. Such distracted or unprivileged students just need someone to sit down with them and break the teachings down for them. I always enjoyed teaching mathematics topics such as Calculus to students. That subject in particular is needed for many applied fields in which several (engineering, physics, actuarial science) I have both working and educational experience in. I tutored for three years in various mathematics subjects at Penn State.
