As a law school graduate I have experience in many different subjects but my passion and teaching experience lies, however, in dance, the sport of soccer, and the language of Spanish (my native tongue). During my college years, I worked as a volunteer teaching the Spanish language to both youth and adults who spoke only their indigenous tongue. During that time, I also studied Latin dance extensively. I taught courses in Latin dance for over 5 years, as well as performed at over 100 venues in Southern Mexico. My method is to reach students exactly where there at and use methods that would stimulate all types of learners . Once I was teaching a group of sixth graders who would be entering Algebra soon. I gave them a true life math example. Our equasion; a party with the number of students, quantity of different items and costs. When we devided the items their costs with the number of students we came up with how much each student had to pitch in. In this example I had some items that were to be used and they were able to touch them. I also told them very clearly what was going on while I was writing it all down.
