My comments on tutoring Accounting : I have been teaching financial, managerial and cost accounting for more than 20 years. I also teach fraud examination.

I feel that learning does not have to be painful and so I make it enjoyable by simplifying the materials. I use powerPoint, lectures, I do role play, group work and challenging methods where students have to use their intelligence to answer questions. I make students solve questions in class to show that they understood the materials.
I have a Doctorate degree in Business Administration (DBA), issued by Argosy University Florida. 2 Masters degrees from International Management Center Buckingham (UK) and Northland Open University Bournemouth (UK) obtaining HRM and accounting. Do you need an advanced tutor?

My teaching style depends on the student, it is adaptable. Some people are more visual, others are more lecture type, it all depends on the person.
Experience tutoring MS, PhD, post-doctoral, or resident-interns in the medical field. I also have tutored established PE type engineers and MBAs for executive type presentations. Have tutored high school and undergrad as well. The teaching style is adaptable, but I prefer tutor either in a university library, coffee house, or classroom environment.

I usually ask tutees to work out some problems or ask them a few questions to see where they are and what needs to be worked on.
