In 2008, as an upper-level English major, I accepted a position with Schreiner University wherein I hoped to use my education in the concentration of composition. For the rest of my college career until I earned my B.A., I tutored fellow students at various stages of the writing process, from conceptualization to polishing. I also met frequently with fellow tutors to discuss researched tutoring theory and tactics. Whether it is in front of a class of 40 or one-on-one, I have been endowed not only with the talent to teach, but also with the God-given ability to motivate.
