Learning is a process more than an experience. The greatest satisfaction I had as a tutor was when my tutees gained a love for their subject, their minds became engaged, and they began asking questions of their own and finding answers. These moments were when I knew that I was successful. The most impactful teachers I had were those that taught me to love learning and incorporate knowledge into my own life. Helping others not only understand a principle but be changed by the process is my passion in teaching.
I have always possessed a love for and interest in the phenomena of our natural world. This has driven me to obtain a B.S. degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
