My teaching style is very distinctive to the students learning needs. I believe that the educator is a facilitator of the information and must be able to differentiate the instruction to the needs of the learner. I also believe that the educator must provide meaningful instruction and assessments to show the student their growth and gains throughout the teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

In my instruction I apply research-based strategies, theories, new techniques, and modern methods of instruction. I put a lot of thought and work in to creating my lesson plans. This can be seen in the detail that I provide on each plan. I pay careful consideration to connecting the lesson to the GLEs and EALRs and I summarize each lesson in great detail. My lesson plans are thorough, well-crafted and would enable anyone to come in and take over my class in my absence. My plans are creative, useful and each one presents an important lesson that combine innovative strategies with engaging activities. They stimulate imagination and help develop oral and written language skills.
