As a High Honors graduate in Early Childhood Education, I was very much driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned two degrees, BS in Business Administration and AA in Business Management, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and logic. As a high school student I participated in peer tutoring. While in high school I volunteered to serve as a tutor in Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, Zoology, and Biology. I graduated with 27 AP credits which helped me complete a B.S. at Clarke College in 3 years. At Clarke I found that tutoring my peers helped both the student and me. As a biology major at Clarke College I took many courses in science including biology, chemistry, and physics. Clarke is a liberal arts college so I took a variety of courses including English and History. At Clarke I tutored peers in many classes such as Human Biology, General Chemistry, and Elementary Physics. I also have a partial degree in Accelerated Associates in Culinary Arts from Kendall College and a few classes in Computer Science in the Masters program in Computer Science and the University of Illinois Chicago. I have experience in manufacturing engineering, Research and Development, Sales, Management in Computers and several years as a Chef.
My early teaching and learning style was to do as many problems that were thrown at me in class or the text. I have always been good in math and sciences. I enjoyed teaching my friends and classmates. For this reason I started by tutering math courses at the University of Tenessee Knoxville.
