Before heading over to college, I tutored children whose ages range from pre-school to high school. I tutored them in math, science, grammar, and piano. Class size ranged from 1 to 15. During the years, we have formed a strong bond, and I make it a point in my return trips home to see them! I love teaching and interacting with today's young kids. They fascinate me. Every child has different learning systems and sometimes it takes several tries to reach that special spot that opens the child's eyes to what excites them about learning. The thrill that I feel when that point is found and theirs, (And my, excitement,)grows. There is no feeling in the world like that!
When I substitute for a teacher, I want to see a lesson plan. I do not want to be the classroom babysitter. If there is no plan for the day I involve the students in making one. The reason I am able to teach French grammar in a non-intimidating, almost very relaxing way, is because I had to master it. A Little Bit About Me...

I love children and I am a patient and caring teacher. My mother is an educational diagnostician and an expert on learning disabilities and different learning styles.
