Highly motivated, educated, and interested teacher will help

I have been teaching for over 17 years. Being very versatile, I have taught English, Ancient History, Medieval History, Computers, Art, and preschool. I started out teaching preschool and loved it. Then I went to a private Christian school (teaching completely for volunteer pay). From there, I decided that I love to help people learn. I went back to school. Students still will recognize me and I know that I made a difference in their life. It is a great reward to know that at that point in their life, I was supposed to be there.
I believe in individual learning styles and matching the teaching technique to the learning style. We all have strengths and weaknesses. It is important to learn how to capitalize on the strengths and build up the weakness.

Communication has always been an interest of mine so I pursued a journalism degree and spent many hours in education to be an adept communicator through the written word. I also enjoy the person-to-person communication that is involved with the journalism profession. I have expanded my skills and knowledge through pursuing a creative arts career, as well. My work experience has been as the Controller in turn-around situations, manufacturing, distribution and agriculture operations as well as small family operated construction and retail companies. During my career, I use the same method to grasp difficult concepts. As a technical advisor, I shared my knowledge with clients, answering questions and solving problems. As a tutor, I help my students develop strong expertise. At my children's school, I have worked with kids aged 5 to 11 for several years. We work in groups, or individually.
