I have earned a BS in Physical Education. My major was Athletic Training, which has prepared me to gain extensive knowledge in Biology and Anatomy & Phys. I also have prior tutoring experience helping with students at my church and family members who were younger than me. I have helped tutor students with all major subjects.

During my course as a math tutor, I’ve found one on one tutoring to be most effective. Each child presented different needs and was receptive to different teaching methods, so I would meet with them individually. I believe each child is just as likely to succeed as the next one, and as a tutor, it is my job to encourage and instill confidence in them.
As I approach my college graduation, I have realized how fortunate I am to have been given the opportunity to attend college. I understood the importance of understanding math in life early on and my Finance degree only validated that notion. Since I graduated with a business degree in accounting,I have been working in that field since 1978. I have been in a leadership role in the manufacturing business area and as a result have mentored many employees who either worked for me directly or indirectly in the accounting field.
