My comments on tutoring Trumpet : I have been playing trumpet since the fifth grade and have learned and mastered the basics. I take private lessons, have been featured as a top member of my ensembles, as a soloist, and selected for special ensembles. I have been in Area All-State, the Empire State Repertory Orchestra, and was the president of my school Wind Ensemble. I have mentored others to help them help the quality of the ensemble, and am confident in my ability to teach others what I have learned.

Teaching new concepts, practice applying the new material, review, and more practice of the material to solidify the concepts.
I have helped my classmates and have had one official student as of this summer. However, I have learned how to explain concepts so that students dont just memorize, they will gain a thought process and applicable knowledge that will enable them to solve even the most complex problems. Having this mentality of preparation and success will being them to reach their goals.

While at West Chester University, I had to take Statistics and Probability and that was because I was in the excelled Math program in high school. I had all Math courses up to and including Advanced Algebra. While attending Adirondack Community College, I had to take a Medical Math course that covered many conversions.
I love teaching and working with children and adults. I, myself have achieved a high level of excellence in education by completing two degrees and plan on completing my BS in Nursing. I believe in teaching through demonstration and by providing an optimal atmosphere for learning. I strive to make a difference in other peoples' lives and that is why I chose to become a nurse.
