As a student who has dabbled in so many areas, it is easy for me to assess when a teacher/professor is not explaining a concept in a method that helps the students. I have previous experience tutoring, but my teaching talent comes from my role as the unofficial tutor for most of my classes. I am a firm believer that if a student is allowed and taught to think independently, they will discover their own way of learning. Each student is different in the way in which they tackle various subjects, it is important as the educator to understand that approach and encourage the student to discover learning through that approach.
