Though I have not had any experience teaching in any school system in the United States, when I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine I taught both American history and American literature to high school aged students. I have a B.A. in history from the University of Arkansas and have had a great deal of experience working with youths as well. Currently I am in the Master's degree program at the University of Arkansas and have had experiences in researching, writing, and presenting my papers at conference. I am very patient and reassuring to students and wait for them to get the answer on their own when tutoring mathematics. I show them how to do it first, then let them try, and then re-explain. We would continue this repetitively with different problems until they can do it independently. It is also important to listen very carefully as to what they are saying.

As a former instructor at the University of Arkansas, I am dedicated to furthering the education of others. I taught as the sole instructor for American National Government (ANG) core course for two semesters (60 students each) and was an assistant teacher for one semester in a class of 220.
