I want you to be successful in learning!

My teaching style is mainly dependant on the person that I am tutoring. If a student needs to take a slower process to learn than I am adaptable to that. The same is true for someone who has a little faster pace. I am flexible.
I have experience with teaching adults how to read at my local literacy organization. Also, I have tutored children with Reading and Math. I have taught 29 years in public and private schools. I have home schooled. I have been a teacher evaluator and a mentor of first year teachers. I have been on the Berkeley County Teacher Forum. Also, I believe that "hands on" practice is the best way to really learn a subject. I like to break things down into smaller parts and let the student practice and grasp each concept instead of just showing them how to do it. Some students are more aggressive and advanced but there are those who are silent and will not speak out about difficulties understanding competencies.
