I believe that Mathematics is the language of all sciences, and that children need a good foundation in this subject to succeed. I am passionate about achieving understanding of Mathematical topics in a child, since I believe many children dislike Math simply because they do not understand it. As a graduating senior in the Honors College of The Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Chemistry, I am surrounded by opportunities for both learning and teaching. While I complete the last semester of my degree, I am also beginning to take on several teaching positions. I am currently a teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry Lab, putting me in a position to supervise, assist, and mentor twenty individuals only a few years my junior.
