Creating Confident Students via Creative Learning

I like to use hands on and/or creative teaching methods when possible. I believe that practice and persistence makes perfect. I would say that my teaching style is "outside of the box". I use this effective method when possible, due to the fact that typically students have tried more standardized methods and have not been able to learn from them; therefore they seek tutoring.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have extensive training in English grammar and composition as well as classic and contemporary literature. I have received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina as certification for my studies in the English language. I have also received education in Japanese and have learned hundreds of Kanji as well as most grammatical forms, speech styles and conversation context clues, giving me the tools to teach up to an intermediate level in Japanese.
