Everyone learns differently. I think by involving as many of your senses you are able to learn and retain information better. Teaching information and giving examples that are relavent to the student's life and experiences help teach the student that learning is important.The advances in technology and utilizing these resources are very important. A Little Bit About Me...

I earned my Bachelor degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics. I was a substitute teacher for three years. I recently earned nine credit hours of additional education in order to renew my teaching license with the State of Ohio. Currently a stay-at-home mother, I give piano lessons to students at various levels of ability. I took piano lessons for eight years and am considered to be an advanced player.
