I have my BA from Scripps College in both English and History. I have significant experience tutoring within the humanities, but also German, math and the sciences. I started college as a Biology major, so I have a firm grounding in mathematics and the sciences, which I have bolstered to prepare for graduate school in Architecture. I believe teaching should be child friendly and as interactive as possible. When learning is fun, even difficult concepts become easy. My goal is to motivate children to succeed and teach them that they can do anything if they put forth their best effort. A Little Bit About Me...

I became a para and went on to get my teaching degrees.Initially I received a BS in Human Services(This degree dealt with ethics, social work, counseling, and confidential issues) I felt these were issues as a teacher that would be beneficial. After working as a substitute for 2 years,I applied and was offered a Special Education position. I took the job and went to Regis University while I was working with 7th and 8th grade students. I worked at this position for three years, the year I graduated 2007 the school was faced with downsizing and I was let go. I worked the following year with 7th and 8th grade students in a different school district. I continue to move forward with learning and teaching.
