A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught English, Math, Reading, Spelling, and Science for the last 3 years. I strive to make a difference when it comes to children. Seeing a child's face light up when they pass a test or understand a problem is quite rewarding to me. Another program I have work with is "No Child is Left Behind". I am very patient with all my students and want to all of them to succeed.
I have two degrees, the first degree - Associates of Science degree in health, which has given me the understanding in science. I prefer to teach in a classroom environment with a structure and learning standards. I can also teach in a one on one tutoring session. It is helpful to have good teaching materials and resources available. I like to have the opportunity to prepare lessons and have the ability to write lesson plans and prepare lessons. I have a proven ability to follow through with those lesson plans. I prefer to have the appropriate support for the teaching environment and at times I have been known to refuse to teach unless I have been given the opportunity to prepare for the teaching event in advance. I am aware of safety and the requirements for a good learning environment.
