My education in a liberal arts college has allowed me to not only master an extensive range of subject matter from mathematics to science to humanities; but it has also allowed me to apply my knowledge in everyday situations. I have a BA in Chemistry and a BA in Environmental Studies. I grasp a wide range of physical science subject matter, as well as familiarity in public policy, currents issues, essay writing and critiquing, and research and analytical methods. During and after earning my degree, I spent almost nine years working in healthcare as a medical assistant, teaching patients in a one on one environment. Most recently I was an Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor. I have given training presentations to groups from as small as three to as large as sixty. During this school year, I have worked as a substitute teacher for Calvary Christian Academy.I was involved in 4-H for 9 years. Through that opportunity I was instilled with a passion for community service. I have also volunteered as co-leader of church youth group and for the past two years worked as a helper in the classes for ages 10-13 in the AWANA Club at Calvary Baptist Church in Ozark.
