A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my undergraduate experience, I worked with many of my fellow students to help them better understand chemistry concepts. I have gained experience in all of the major fields of chemistry including organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry. I have even completed inorganic/physical chemistry research which I presented to other scientists. I currently work as a chemist, which keeps my skills sharp.

Positive reinforcement is the key. When a student sees that an adult is taking an honest interest in them, then they are not only more willing to learn, but more able. Telling a child "I know you can do it" instead of "you can do better than that" is imperative. Even the most tempermental or unmotivated student can be helped as long as that personal connection is there. A Little Bit About Me...
