My freshman class at BYU had over 400 Chemical Engineering students. Sixteen of us graduated, the rest were 'weeded out'. I am just one class short of a BS in Chemistry, and but one class short of a minor in Physics and Norwegian. Electrical Engineering very much mentored my abilities in math, and I did get a minor in math from Utah State University. I have tutored a number of students in math, chemistry and physics, as well as a few in English literature and grammar. I love teaching, and find helping others learn and understand very rewarding. My experience has taught me that many, if not most, learning problems are reflective of the teachers incomplete understanding of the subject they are trying to teach. The subjects I teach I do understand, and can describe to the student from different 'angles' as it were, in helping them gain command of that subject in their own minds. Lear
