As a Big Ten graduate from Penn State University, I was very much driven to push myself in a wide variety of subjects to achieve a well-rounded education. But I also earned my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from National University in La Jolla, Calif. My undergrad degree in Film and Video/Communications. I've also spent time in the US Air Force where I received training in newspaper writing and photography. I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers for my graduate level classes, along with essays in many various areas of study. I've been a substitute teacher for several years for grades k-12. I love teaching and working with all children of all ages and believe all children can learn, but I've learned that students learn in different ways.
