I want you to be successful in learning!

My teaching style is mainly dependant on the person that I am tutoring. If a student needs to take a slower process to learn than I am adaptable to that. The same is true for someone who has a little faster pace. I am flexible.
I have experience with teaching adults how to read at my local literacy organization. Also, I have tutored children with Reading and Math. I was a substitute teacher for students from Pre Kindergarten through High School with different subjects and disciplines. I have earned my graduate certificate in Accounting and a bachelors in Business. I have always loved teaching. While attending high school, I helped assist with adult education classes at night. It became obvious to me that if I desired to pursue higher education I would have to qualify for scholarships and grants. I earned a bachelor degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Radio and Television. I was able to do voice over work at area radio stations. A Little Bit About Me...

As a teacher, classroom experiences have made me realize all students do not learn the same fashion. Some students are more aggressive and advanced but there are those who are silent and will not speak out about difficulties understanding competencies. I prefer not to embarrass those students but give them the opportunity to learn one-on-one. While some students have a difficult time with teacher/student ratio, I like to give the option of working with another student who may understand the content and can teach another peer. I enjoy teaching very much. I think a strength trying to use a student's active content or prior knowledge to connect to material.
