As a student I enjoyed most the teachers who facilitated learning. Teachers who lead students on a road of discovery as they learned, who taught me how to think and not what to think. I model my teaching after the same style I enjoyed as a student. Helping a student discover for themselves the material not only educates them but fosters a passion for the subject at hand. My teaching belief is that every audience is different. Children do not learn in the same way that adults do, therefore there are two different methodologies to teaching each learning set. My method is to gauge what the learner already knows, how they learn best, what motivates them, listen to their dreams, concerns, and frustrations and go from there.
