I earned a BS in Computer Science from Berry College with a minor in Animal Science and one class short of a second minor in English. During my senior year I worked as a teaching assistant, helping the freshman programming class complete their assignments as well as grading their work and running study sessions. I just finished a master's in computer science at Rice University (degree to be awarded December 2010) and during my time at Rice I was a TA both for their freshman class as well as for the advanced Operating Systems class. Before I graduated I spent summers teaching horseback riding to children. Currently, I am independently tutoring a sixth grader in math twice a week.
