I am proud to say that I have spent the last 9 years in public education as a teacher in a self-contained Speech & Language classroom. Throughout my 9 years, I have had the opportunity to work with many wonderful students, who I am happy to say have shown lots of success in my Speech & Language classroom. I enter the classroom with the belief that all children can be successful. Prior to entering public education, I worked as a Pre-K teaching assistant, homecare provider, one-to-one student aide, and camp counselor.
I became interested in education as an undergraduate student at Hunter College where my coursework and surroundings allowed me to explore multicultural and diverse learning. Following my undergraduate studies, I was proudly accepted into the New York City Teaching Fellows program.
