I am convinced that for students to succeed in their education and in life they must have a firm foundation in reading and writing. Without mastering these basics it is nearly impossible for them to move on to a higher learning level. I have earned a bachelor degree in Liberal Studies and a concentration in Math, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math, Language arts, health, social studies, grammar, arts, and Spanish. In addition, I have taught first, second, and third grade in Los Angeles Unified School District in California for three years.
