A Little Bit About Me...

I have little work experience, but I'm very experienced in math and frequently tutored in my two semesters as CCGA in Georgia. I also tutored STAR students after school and some peers in high school. I've tutored mostly algebra, but with minor review on my end, I can teach anything below calculus and feel confident in doing so.
I pride myself on my interpersonal skills and my ability to communicate information in ways that make it easy for people to understand and grasp the concepts at hand. I've never had a problem with communicating and explaining math.

I have always tutored friends and peers in mathematics. I spent the last year helping one of my good friends learn calculus and have volunteered as a tutor at Falmouth High School in Falmouth, Maine in order to help students learn algebra. Improving the lives of children has always been a passion of mine. While my academic background has had a focus, primarily, in the social work realm, my overall philosophy for working with youth emphasizes patience and education.
