I tutored 9th grade high school students in Algebra I for 5-10 hours per week for 6 months. I excel at math and love helping students gain a better understanding of the subject. I try to get my students to find the answer for themselves by asking them questions. Students need to come to an understanding of their material and that won't happen if I continually give them the answers. I'm also very patient with my students. If they don't grasp a concept or topic that we're working on, I will continue to explain it to them in different ways until it makes sense. I have been tutoring students for about 5 years.
